Singapore Airlines increases flights to London and Manchester – Business Traveller

Singapore Airlines has returned to pre-pandemic flight frequencies on its key London Heathrow route, and will increase flights to Manchester from next week.

The carrier is now offering four flights per day between Heathrow and Singapore, with services departing London at 0925 (operated by a B777-300ER), 1125 (A380), 2050 (B777-300ER) and 2205 (A350).

The Heathrow-bound flights depart Changi airport at 0110 (B777-300ER), 0900 (B777-300ER), 1235 (A350) and 2330 (A380).

Meanwhile the airline’s service between Singapore and Manchester (and onwards to Houston – a fifth freedom route which resumed in December 2021) will increase to four-times-weekly from June 7, using A350 aircraft.

Schedules are as follows:

Between Manchester and Singapore

  • Departs Manchester at 1140 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, arriving into Singapore at 0740 the following day
  • Departs Singapore at 0205 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, arriving into Manchester at 0850

Between Manchester and Houston

  • Departs Manchester at 1040 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving into Houston at 1430
  • Departs Houston at 1910 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving into Manchester at 1005 the following day

Commenting on the increase in UK flights Mr Mohamed Rafi Mar, general manager UK and Ireland, Singapore Airlines, said:

“We are delighted to return to full flight frequency on our London Heathrow – Singapore route and to be able to continue increasing the frequency on our Manchester routes.
